Meditation

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing your attention on a particular object, thought, or activity to achieve a state of mental clarity and relaxation. It is often used as a tool for stress reduction, improving concentration, and increasing self-awareness.

During meditation, you typically sit in a comfortable position with your eyes closed or with a soft gaze, and focus on your breath, a mantra, or a specific part of your body. As you continue to practice, you may notice your thoughts and emotions becoming more calm and centered.

Meditation has been shown to have a number of benefits, including reducing anxiety and depression, improving cognitive function, and lowering blood pressure. It is a simple yet powerful tool that can be incorporated into your daily routine to promote overall well-being.

* Children are welcome at all meetings. Snacks and drinks are available also. Please feel free to attend any and all meetings as they are all open format and open discussion.
